Russia sells 21,550 tns of grain from state fund at NAMEX on Thu

MOSCOW, Jun 21 (PRIME) -- The Russian government sold 21,550 tonnes of grain worth 150.818 million rubles from the state intervention fund for exports at the National Mercantile Exchange (NAMEX) on Thursday, as seen by PRIME in materials of the exchange.

The government sold 2,430 tonnes worth of third-class wheat harvested in 2011 for 17.071 million rubles, 9,720 tonnes of third-class wheat harvested in 2013 for 76.95 million rubles, 3,375 tonnes of fifth-class wheat harvested in 2013 for 19.744 million rubles, and 6,025 tonnes of barley harvested in 2013 for 37.054 million rubles.

In total, the government plans to sell up to 500,000 tonnes of grain from the state intervention fund for exports in 2018.
